The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
