Gantry crane operator — Appling County

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Appling County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
