Argon arc welder — Coke County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Coke County, Texas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
