We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in Union County, Georgia. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
