Overlocker operator — Lincoln County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Lincoln County, Nevada. The job is on an export house sewing floor. You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
