Sheet metal welder — Tipton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Tipton County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
