Now hiring: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Buena Vista County, Iowa. The job is at a busy building site. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Working-at-height certificate an advantage The role involves work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
