Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Dallas County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience.
