Steel erection rigger — Clackmannanshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
