Commis chef wanted in Bladen County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Bladen County, North Carolina. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen You will keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
