Die-casting operator — Ontario County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Ontario County, New York. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 5+ years on the tools preferred.
