Now hiring: we are hiring an insulation worker in Miami County, Ohio. Day to day you will fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding. What we are looking for: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Full-time with occasional weekends.
