Vertical milling machine operator — Cass County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Cass County, Michigan. You will be based in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
