Plastering hand — Kent County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plastering hand in Kent County, Michigan. Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day On the job you will handle: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency 6+ years on the tools preferred.
