Urgent requirement: D6/D8 dozer operator (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Oswego County, New York. You will work on a dam or embankment job. Your main tasks: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
