Backhoe loader operator • Floyd County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Floyd County, Indiana. You will be based at a road-building project. You will check for underground cables and services before digging; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Part-time with flexible hours. $4,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
