Offshore rigger — Liberty County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Liberty County, Georgia. The job is at a container port. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
