Panel technician — Montcalm County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel technician in Montcalm County, Michigan. You will work at a commercial fleet workshop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Day-to-day duties: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
