Immediate opening: bricklayer (Plateau State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Riyom, Plateau State. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Part-time with flexible hours.
