Crawler crane operator — Putnam County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Putnam County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
