Ladle pourer — Chester County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Chester County, Tennessee. You will work on the moulding line. The role involves fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
