Great opportunity: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Prince Edward County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance The role involves: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Six days a week, one day off.
