Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Winnebago County, Iowa. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
