Production welder — Ogemaw County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Ogemaw County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
