Mason's helper — Boyd County

Join our team: we are hiring a mason's helper in Boyd County, Kentucky. You will work with a civil contractor. Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day The role involves: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate 6+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
