Backhoe operator — Calhoun County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Calhoun County, Arkansas. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
