Sheet metal press operator • Sullivan County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Sullivan County, New York. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses 3+ years on the tools preferred.
