Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Borsari, Yobe State. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
