Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Kidder County, North Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings.
