Flatlock machine operator — Calhoun County

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Calhoun County, Michigan. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On a typical shift you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
