Kitchen porter — Delaware County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a hotel kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method Requirements: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
