Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Osage County, Kansas. You will work at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings The role involves carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
