Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Saint Johns County, Florida. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
