CO2 welder — Durham County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Durham County, North Carolina. The job is at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings You will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints.
