Ceramic tiler • Ripley County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Ripley County, Indiana. The job is on a new-build housing development. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Your main tasks: • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
