Now hiring: we are hiring a roofer in Logan County, West Virginia. The job is on residential new-build sites. Day-to-day duties: • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing Ideal candidate: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • A good head for heights and steady balance • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Pay around $12,000 per project, based on your experience.
