D6/D8 dozer operator — Galveston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Galveston County, Texas. You will work at an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Your main tasks: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
