Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Clark County, Illinois. You will work in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Your main tasks: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
