CNC machine operator wanted in Des Moines County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Des Moines County, Iowa. You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Good attention to detail and steady hands Day-to-day duties: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
