Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in City of Staunton, Virginia. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters On a typical shift you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes.
