Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes On the job you will handle: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
