Plasterer's mate wanted in Aiken County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Aiken County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets Ideal candidate: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
