Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. Day-to-day duties: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Part-time with flexible hours.
