Offshore rigger • Yala, Cross River State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Yala, Cross River State. You will work on a high-rise building site. Your main tasks: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Rotating shifts.
