Security officer — Massac County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a security officer in Massac County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency. Requirements: • Ex-servicemen preferred • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
