Semi-automatic welder — Colquitt County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Colquitt County, Georgia. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 4+ years on the tools preferred.
