Rebar fixer wanted in Jaba

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Jaba, Kaduna State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors.
