Pastry baker — Montgomery County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Montgomery County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy bakery. You will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; score the top of loaves before baking; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
