Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Scott County, Kansas. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
