Formwork erector — Halifax County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork erector in Halifax County, Virginia. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules The role involves: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse Meals and transport allowance provided.
